Trip Itinerary

Day 1: The Mother City

Welcome to South Africa!  On arrival at Cape Town International Airport (CPT), you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2-4: Exploring Cape Town

Spend these days sightseeing in Cape Town. Options include a private city tour customized to your interests, taking in views from the top of Table Mountain, hiking, a scenic helicopter flight over the city and the bays, and exploring the rugged coastline with a trip along the Cape Peninsula while meeting the penguins of Boulders Beach. Your days can be customized in advance to suit your needs.

Day 5-6: In the Winelands

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred by road to the Cape Winelands for check-in at your accommodations.  During your stay, enjoy a privately guided wine tour with tastings at several wineries in the region.  From hiking to mountain biking and horseback riding, the Winelands offer plenty of other active pursuits, and a stroll through Franschhoek is always worth the time to check out the local shops, galleries, and restaurants.

Day 7: Into the Bushveld

In the morning, transfer to the Cape Town airport for your scheduled flight towards the Greater Kruger.  Whether you’re seeking a specific experience or a unique accommodation style, we can match you with the ideal location and lodge. Choose from a range of options, including Kruger National Park or exclusive private reserves such as Sabi Sands, Timbavati, Kapama, Klaserie, and Thornybush—each offering its own distinct appeal.

Day 8-10: Wildlife Viewing in the Greater Kruger

Spend these days game viewing in one of the private reserves along Kruger National Park. Striking landscapes meet the Big Five, offering unparalleled opportunities for game drives and walking safaris, depending on the reserve.  Immerse yourself in the rhythm of the wild as expert guides lead you through private reserves, where up-close encounters with elephants, lions, rhinos, and more await. 

Day 11: To Victoria Falls

In the morning, you’ll be transferred to the nearest airport for your flight from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls.  On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met and transferred to the lodge.

Day 12-13: Exploring Victoria Falls

In Victoria Falls, your days can be as relaxed or as adventurous as you choose. Take in a bird’s-eye view of the falls with a breathtaking helicopter flight, offering a new perspective of this natural wonder. For a slower pace, enjoy a tranquil sunset cruise along the Zambezi River, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and elephants along the riverbanks. A guided walking tour of the falls provides an up-close encounter with its thundering power and lush rainforest.
 

For those seeking a bit more adventure, Victoria Falls offers heart-pumping activities like white-water rafting or zip-lining, while nature lovers can join conservation-oriented experiences that support local wildlife initiatives.  You can also opt for a day trip to nearby Chobe or Zambezi National Parks, where game drives or boat safaris reveal the rich diversity of the region’s wildlife.

Day 14: Departure

In the morning, you’ll be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your outbound flight.
