Trip Itinerary

Day 1-2: Welcome to South Africa

On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met and transferred to Grootbos Private Nature Reserve, tucked between the mountains and sea.  This five-star private ecological paradise is ideally located for spotting the marine “Big Five” and stunning floral diversity. 

Day 2-3: Marine Life of Walker's Bay

Spend these days in the luxurious Grootbos Nature Reserve and nearby Walker’s Bay, where activities on offer include whale watching by land or boat, cave excursions, 4×4 flower safaris, horseback riding, shark cage diving, nature walks, picnics, and spa treatments.

Day 4: Exploring Cape Town

Enjoy a final morning at Grootbos before transferring by road to Cape Town, where you’ll settle in to explore South Africa’s “Mother City” over the next few days.

Day 5-7: Sightseeing in Cape Town

Spend these days sightseeing in Cape Town.  Options include a private city tour customized to your interests, taking in views from the top of Table Mountain, hiking, a full-day trip to the Winelands or nearby Constantia, a scenic helicopter flight over the city and the bays, and exploring the rugged coastline with a trip along the Cape Peninsula while meeting the penguins of Boulders Beach.  Your days can be customized in advance to suit your needs.

Day 8: To Madikwe Game Reserve

Transfer to Cape Town Airport for your scheduled flight to Johannesburg and onwards transfer to Madikwe Game Reserve.  Enjoy the evening to settle in to your safari in this stunning landscape.

Day 9-10: On Safari in Madikwe

Enjoy thrilling days of game viewing in one of the private reserves adjacent to Kruger National Park. Here, breathtaking landscapes come alive with the Big Five, providing exceptional opportunities for both game drives and walking safaris, depending on your chosen reserve. Day 11: Departure

In the morning, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your outbound flight.
